It’s hard to express what a wonderful weekend this has been. I made my first swing back through my old stomping grounds in central Kentucky this weekend, playing at Main and Maple in Nicholasville on Saturday evening and at South Elkhorn Christian Church on Sunday.
A dear friend from Georgia, now living in Lexington, graciously received me into her home and came down for the evening at M&M. She also arranged for me to share in worship at South Elkhorn. On Saturday, three of my dad’s sisters made the trip with one of my cousins to Nicholasville. We had a great time to visit before I "went to work" and enjoyed some of the delicious food at Main and Maple.
Knowing that others care about you is a powerful thing. As I sit here tonight, it’s just plain overwhelming. I am truly blessed beyond measure.
Now it’s back to work, and then back to Nashville for more music. This Saturday from 11:00 – 1:00, I’ll be back in front of Cafe Interlude as part of the Taste of Brown County Festival. If you’re in the area, come on down for some good music and good eats.
Thank you, each and every one.
Blessings,
Dean
