Hey folks! It was a busy September with retreats and travel, but it was a fun month. September included a trip to Estes Park, Colorado to co-lead a men’s retreat. Free time allowed me a trip into Rocky Mountain National Park where the aspen were turning. The shimmer of golden aspen leaves is yet another reminder of the glory and wonder of God’s creation.
As we head into October, the coming month presents some great opportunities for music. The first ones come up this weekend. The Riley Days festival is happening in Greenfield (pretty sure I got the right Green this time), and Friday afternoon I’ll be back at The Bread Ladies from 1:00 until 4:00, playing music for festival goers and lunch enjoyers.
In addition to playing solo in familiar venues, October’s calendar has dates with old friends and new venues. I’m looking forward to taking the stage again with my friends Patchwork at Beanzies on the 24th. On the next night, I’ll be making my first musical trip to Fort Wayne to play at Firefly Coffee House.
Here’s the remaining show schedule for October. It would be great to see you at one of these fine venues.
